2014 will be a huge year for Scotland with several major events taking place including the commemoration of the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn, the 2014 Clan Gathering & Highland Games, the 2014 Commonwealth Games which will take place in Glasgow, and the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.

Details of the Clan Gathering are still being finalised however please contact us and we can add your details to our mailing list, and as soon as more information is announced we will let you know.  We will also update this page accordingly as soon as we know more.  We are happy to deal with all travel arrangements for groups and Scottish clan societies as well as small family groups or solo travellers, so please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Updated 6th March 2012: Fergus Ewing MSP, Scottish Minister for Enterprise, Energy & Tourism said "I am delighted that £3 million will be invested in our events industry to create an inspirational programme of events for Homecoming Scotland...our national tourism organisation VisitScotland will promote Homecoming Scotland 2014 through its award winning marketing campaigns, inviting ancestral Scots and people who simply love Scotland 'home' in 2014".

Bannockburn 700, 23-29 June 2014

A week packed full of activities to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn including re-enactments and the opening of the new Bannockburn visitor centre

International Gathering of Clans, 11-13 July 2014, Stirling

To include a Scottish Clans village, cavalcade procession between the clans village and Stirling Castle, entertainment on Stirling Castle esplanade, link up with Bannockburn, other events throughout the city.
