Scottish Highland Trails is a family run business which has been providing tailor made tours of Scotland for over 15 years.  Staff you will most probably come into contact with include Jill (who takes care of most of the vacation planning) and our team of drivers including Big Dave, Davy C, Sarah, Alex and Robin. We are all experienced travellers who have enjoyed vacations in many parts of the world, and over the years we have organised all types of vacations for all types of traveller, from families with small children to large group travel and corporate packages, which gives us all the skill and knowledge necessary to understand our Guests’ requirements.

This Website does not advertise nicely designed and neatly parcelled Tours to buy off a shelf because such trips are not what Scottish Highland Trails are about!

Someone once asked that we draw up an itinerary where he could taste, smell, touch, hear and see everything that Scotland had to offer in a four-day visit.  We managed ... but recommend giving yourself a bit longer! Many of our Guests take a similar approach by telling us two or three places they really want to visit, a couple of other things they want to do, and then leave us to incorporate them into an Itinerary of their chosen duration.

Everything we do is designed through consultation with you, our Guests, at every stage. With an eye on budget, we will take your hopes, desires, personal interests ... yes, dislikes too, and mould your visit around such factors creating the ideal itinerary for you to get maximum enjoyment from your visit to Scotland.  We are more than happy to provide advice and suggestions at every stage and to help in every way possible, however it's always open to you to say what’s in, and what’s out of your package.

For too long, visitors to Scotland have been sold Tours which appeal to the mass market and don't consider the individual!  We aim to raise that level of satisfaction.
