Scottish Highland Trails: Robert Burns Tours

But come you back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine and in shadow
Oh Danny Boy, oh Danny Boy, I love you so.

We have so many Guests each year with both Scottish and Irish blood, its perhaps inevitable that many of them want to visit Ireland either in addition to spending time in Scotland, or for a purely Irish experience which will inevitably be just as memorable.

Scottish Highland Trails are delighted to offer a full planning service for all visits to the Emerald Isle in the same manner described in the Scottish pages of this site. Tell us the places you want to visit, give us a duration for your vacation, then sit back while we work with you to design a very personalised Irish experience. If you have decided you want a vacation in Ireland but you're not sure what to include, then we are just as happy to take time and discuss all options with you.

From the Giants Causeway in the northeast to the Skibbereen in the southwest, Ireland has much to offer its visitors. Many of our Guests from the USA and Canada take advantage of flights into Shannon International Airport on the west coast, then gradually find their way either around the north, or around the south to Dublin on the east cost for flights home, or onward travel to Scotland or elsewhere.

There's no doubt the most popular tours for our Guests are from County Galway on the west with maybe a visit to the Aran islands, south by County Clare, Kerry and Cork, along the south coast visiting Blarney Castle and Waterford then up.

through the Wicklow Hills into Dublin where Trinity College, the Temple Bar area and the Guinness Storehouse are amongst the most regularly requested visits.

Whatever you wish to include in your Irish visit, we are happy to assist you build an Itinerary to your own specifications after which we'll sit in the background at the end of your 24 hour help line giving you the all important backup during your journey.

In Dublin's fair city where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone
As she wheels her wheel barrow
t
hrough streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and mussels a-live a-live a-live o.
