Highland Trails is a family business specialising in personalised,
tailored vacation packages for visitors to Scotland. We advertise
a tailor-made holiday package, and that’s precisely what we serve
up. We cater for solo travellers, family groups, Clan Societies, St
Andrew Societies, and large group bookings of any scale. We are also
happy to cater for the special requirements of Guests with medical
problems, or who possibly need the use of a wheelchair due to mobility
difficulties. Tell us where you want to go, what you need, what you
want to do, and then leave the arrangements to us. Tell us you want
fourteen days golf; we will have the grass cut ready for you. If you
want to go fishing we’ll find you a well-stocked river…
please note, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee that you’ll
catch one though. Tell us to draw up an itinerary on a theme and we
will do it … Historical tours, Gourmet tours, Genealogy tours,
the Whisky Trail, Hiking, Fishing, Music, anything at all. Our Guests’
most frequently requested places are Edinburgh, where the annual Edinburgh
Military Tattoo and Edinburgh International Festival are hugely popular
together with Perthshire, the Highlands, Culloden, the Loch Ness area,
Skye, Mull and Iona. However, we cover the whole country and can link
literally anywhere you care to visit in an Itinerary designed to your

We do not have pre-wrapped vacations on a shelf ready for you to be neatly slotted into one of them. Tell us precisely what you want and then sit back while we mould a vacation package to your requirements. All our Guests start with a Blank Page on which we work with you to build your ideal tour. Nothing is ruled out and everything is possible given the right circumstances. The draft is sent to you for comment, amendment or even scrapping after which we will start again.
At "Scottish Highland Trails" we don't do complaints! The reason we don't do them is that we like to get everything sorted out long before your vacation starts and care not how much correspondence or effort it takes to do it ... and if that sounds like a sales-line I can assure you it’s the only one you will hear from us ... But we have to rely on you to tell us what’s in, and what’s out, and to do so during the planning process.

Throughout the planning process you will deal with one of our Team only, thus ensuring a significant degree of continuity in our dealings. That representative will, whenever possible, meet you at your arrival airport, oversee your tour when you are here, and ensure your preparations for your journey home go as smoothly as possible.
We believe in traditional values of service often considered a bit old-fashioned these days, but nonetheless as relevant now as they were in more civilised, less stressful, bygone times.
We do not charge for our Planning Process. If we cannot create the ideal package for you at an acceptable price then you can walk away ... We will have failed!
